ACT Novel Cancer Treatment Info Hub

ACT Novel Cancer Treatment Info Hub ⋆

Your one-stop info hub…

‘How did ACT for Cancer’s Info Hub come about?’

Due to the team's personal experience with cancer, both as healthcare professionals and patients themselves, the demand for information received by ACT for Cancer has significantly increased. As a result, there has been a pressing need to establish a more automated and reliable method of delivering accurate clinical information. This is vital in order to help individuals navigate through the intricate and bewildering realm of cancer, which is often overwhelming and perplexing for most people.

ACT for Cancer believes that information on available innovative treatment should be free and easily accessible and ensure that any available data has been reviewed to understand success and risk. The Info Hub promises to provide a high-quality, open-access, provider-agnostic resource for making informed decisions regarding the latest cancer treatments and trials.

From our experience in helping patients and their loved ones, we know that there is an important period of time between:

  1. being told a cancer is hard-to-treat and;

  2. taking actionable decisions about what to do next.

ACT Info Hub’s ‘beta’ version was released in May 2023, and is currently providing curated written content on immunotherapies, genomic sequencing, clinical trials, novel treatments including cannabinoids, and more.

The public launch of the Info Hub is planned for Autumn 2023.
